Bajel's real footprint — the Ranjangaon plant + pan-India project sites + international, geography hierarchy, segments, and the ERP data-grain reality (which sites report actuals vs region-level).
Sites on the core ERP post transactions at site level; newer/international sites still record at area/region. The view labels each so actuals are never confused with estimates.
Sites on the core ERP — every transaction booked at site/line grain. Trust as-is.
Migrating sites & international desks — some postings still land at area level; allocation disaggregates them to site using installed assets, headcount and milestone progress.
Newer/international sites — recorded only at region/area on legacy systems. The site figure is a modeled estimate until cutover.
1 · Resolve the site. Match legacy site IDs, segment names and addresses (Ranjangaon plant = Unit 4021 = Maharashtra) into one golden site record — you can't roll up what you can't match.
2 · Tag the grain. Every transaction carries its recording level (site / area / region) and a confidence score, so the view shows actuals vs estimates instead of pretending they're the same.
3 · Disaggregate. For area-level postings, a driver model splits the total to sites by installed assets, headcount, milestone progress and payroll — weights learned from on-ERP sites where both grains exist during cutover.
4 · Reconcile & learn. Allocated site sums must tie back to the area total; anomalies and duplicate client / utility records get flagged. As each site migrates to the core ERP, estimates flip to actuals — coverage is now 84% and rising.
